Episode 3 takes a deeper look into the danger of weirs. It shows that there is a big lack of understanding for weirs. A lot of accidents have happened involving regular swimmers and river rafters, but not surfers and there is a good reason for that. It shows how you have to react if you should ever find yourself getting stuck behind a weir and explains what to look for, if weirs have the potential for a new surfspot.
The final episode ends with an outlook on the surfing landscape in Switzerland. Artificial waves have been constructed and offer new possibilities. There has never been a better time for surfers in Switzerland!
