FAQ

Questions & Answers about the courses

What kind of session should I register for?

If you have never surfed on the bridge before and have no experience in the river, you should sign up for the basic course. This also applies to people who already have experience in the sea. You will benefit from the support of our experienced surf coaches on the correct behaviour in the river.

If you are already experienced in river swimming and behavior in the river, then you can come directly to us in the basic sessions. After a short briefing about our safety concept, we will start with our surf systems. Our coaches will be at your side with help and advice.

In the advanced courses, you start surfing straight away, without much support from our coaches. However, they are always on hand to answer any questions.

When does the safety briefing take place?

The safety introduction to the correct behavior in the river, handling of the equipment and explanation of the SEPORSURF systems, takes place at the beginning of the courses.

How many people take part in a course?

A maximum of 10 people can participate in a course at the same time (private course). A maximum of 8 surfers can participate in a normal Basic Session or a Basic Course. The Pro Session takes place with a maximum of 4 participants.

How long does a course / session last?

The basic course and the basic session last 2 hours. (If there are less than 4 participants, the course duration is 1 hour).                                        The Pro Session lasts 1 hour.

When do I have to be on site?

Please come to the station 20 minutes before the start of your course and register. You will then receive your equipment and can change immediately.

What do I need to take with me?

Only bath towel and swimwear are necessary. It is best to put on the swimwear already under your clothes.

Do you have changing rooms?

No, in principle we do not provide a place to change. If available, we recommend that you bring a poncho.

Can I take a shower at your place?

No. But you can always refresh yourself in the river.

Can I eat at your place?

Not at the moment. However, there are usually catering facilities in the immediate vicinity, such as Coop, Migrolino...etc.
